The Morning Tailgate

Tuesday night’s game in Arizona was a classic case of “what could have been”. Adam Wainwright pitched five 1/3 innings and Chris Carpenter came out of the bullpen for a scoreless inning to get the Cards back in the win column. What could have been if Chris Carpenter and Adam Wainwright each pitched 30 starts for the Cards this season. I’m not entirely sure, but I’d have to think the Cardinals would have more wins - and less blown saves.

Please stay healthy through the rest of the decade, fellas.
