Rams Striking Fear into Opponents’ Fanbase

The Rams are coming off a bye with a new head coach whom the players seemingly want to play for and seem to respect as a leader. Leonard Little will play in his second game and hope to do to Washington what he did to the Bills. All that considered, the Rams are 14 point underdogs and the line is expected to widen. Still, our cyber-homies based in D.C. are kind of worried.

I could see that, I suppose.

As you can see, the Skins are favored by 14 points against the Rams, as of right now. The last time they were favored by 13 or more was 2005 against the 49ers, a game the Skins won by 35. And according to Bodog, this number is expected to go up as gameday nears. Madness.

I’m actually confident the Rams will keep it a game for 4 quarters and lose by no more than 14. Progress, YAY!

Even though it failed to produce a championship, this video is still damn impressive. Of course, that assumes it’s 100% legit.

The Ultimate Tigers Steak Tailgate

If you’re heading to Columbia this Saturday, be sure and say hello to your’s truly. Also, be sure to read this Columbia Tribune article, which has a few pointers for the “serious” tailgater.

Here’s the recipe for the “talk of the tailgate” award for the Okie State game: Get some USDA prime K.C. strip steaks, rub them down with a combination of olive oil, steak seasoning, fresh minced garlic and fresh ground pepper, fire up some hardwood charcoal, open a few bottles of premium cabernet and sear a tiger head on each steak.

You can not only enjoy the results of your culinary effort but also the immense satisfaction of all of your guests. MU barbecue branding irons can be found at official Mizzou-rah retailers.

Wine Pairing: Big Ass Cabernet 2005. This Napa Valley cabernet lives up to its title: big, intense and lush. A perfect pairing for any red meat and for the serious tailgater. Cost: $15.99.

I’m going to take a pass on cooking and will be satisfied with warm beer and a healthy combination of wings and loaded fries at Willie’s, thank you very much.
